A Few Important Notes:

The complete listing of all tournament rules will be distributed to the teams at the time that the case problem is released. Below are a few noteworthy rules:

  1. All scholarship awards will be sent directly to the student's college or university upon proof of the student's enrollment at that institution.

  2. A student's scholarship award will be in trust by The Providence Foundation of Law & Leadership until the student's enrollment in college/university.

  3. To qualify for an individual award, the student must be in the same role (either a witness or an attorney role) in all 4 rounds. In other words, a student cannot be an attorney for the prosecution, and a witness for the defense, and be considered for an individual award such as "Best Witness".

  4. Any student determined to engage in misconduct, as determined by the Hearings Committee, will disqualify the student, and possibly the student's team, from the tournament.
