EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
Francis Jay Caputo holds a Master of Science Degree in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from George Mason University in Arlington, Virginia where he also served as Co-chair for ICAR's Public Policy Working Group. His undergraduate work culminated in earning a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida, where he served on the Board of Directors for Delta Sigma Pi, a professional business fraternity, and was a member of the Financial Management Association. Additionally, Jay completed all undergrad requirements for teaching certification in Secondary Social Sciences Education with the State of Florida. Jay is also a certified mediator in the states of Virginia and Maryland.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES
For the past decade Jay has worked as a Corporate Trainer and Executive Coach for successful organizations and individuals across multiple industries throughout the 50 states and Puerto Rico. He designs and delivers training and coaching curriculums focusing on professional and personal development in communication, management, conflict resolution, strengthening relationships, team-building, sales & marketing and leadership, among other topics. In 2008, he created SourcePoint Consulting, Inc. with a long-time friend and colleague and is currently building a broad network of training and coaching professionals to serve clients who range from small business owners to Fortune 1000 management teams, as well as directors and key personnel within various government agencies.

Previously, Jay worked for 5 years as a high school teacher, during which time he taught a variety of social science courses including Philosophy, World Religions, and Critical Thinking. During this time, he also coached boys and girls Junior Varsity basketball. In addition to being in the classroom and on the court, Jay has instructed thousands of teenagers from across the globe by serving as a director and faculty member of the National Student Leadership Conference (NSLC) at American University in Washington D.C. and Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA since 1998.

CIVIC INVOLVEMENT
Jay currently serves on the Board of Directors for The Providence Foundation of Law & Leadership (www.theprovidencefoundation.org), in Denver, CO, a non-profit organization that empowers students to excel in advocacy and leadership through intense training sessions, educational presentations, and community involvement.

Previously, he also served for 5 years on the Board of Directors (one year as Chairperson) for the South Florida chapter of the renowned, multinational Hugh O'Brien Youth Leadership Foundation (www.hoby.org).

PERSONAL INTERESTS
In addition to spending time with family, Jay dabbles in creative writing and amateur film-making. He takes care of his physical, mental, and spiritual health through reading, aikido training, yoga, meditation, as well as various outdoor activities including biking, hiking, and white-water rafting.
